03 / Practice
I start with
observation.
How does a room ask you to behave? Where do you pause, what do you hide, and what does the space let you become? I build spatial arguments around those questions — through drawing, model-making and narrative.
I am Sylvia (Wang Yutianran), a spatial designer from HBU–UCLan’s School of Media and Creative Industries.
About the practiceDesign is not only the object in the room. It is the room’s permission to behave differently.
